This home was damaged in a flood while the owners were on vacation, leaving the whole space ruined and creating an opportunity to design a remodeled home that met their needs and desires. The home had an addition that was not laid out well and the flow of the home needed some improvements. The owners wanted updates that were modern yet affordable.
MAK began by designing a better layout and space flow that incorporated the addition in a smarter, more logical way. Traffic flow throughout the kitchen was improved and storage was added. The master suite and hall bathroom was redesigned and the dining and family room were updated to have a more open floor plan. To create a work space in the home, a built-in desk and library was designed in a modern and simple style. The beautiful finishes in this space are elegant yet affordable. The new home is an unexpected and beautiful transformation for the home owners.
