MAK is a full-service residential design & build construction company located in Davis, California, servicing the Greater Sacramento area for the past 20 years. Although different from what many homeowners are used to, our design and build method is more efficient than the traditional model of home remodeling.
Beginning with your wish list and budget goals, our design and production teams work together to move your project from concept through construction in a predictable, schedule-driven manner.

We are working to make a big impression on you and a small dent on the planet.
MAK is conscious of the impact of every decision. We employ established, tested, environmentally-friendly technologies and materials whenever possible. While you may not be ready for a geothermal-powered yurt, we can help you find a few green solutions that you might have otherwise missed.
We have also become pros at navigating the ever more complex regulatory world of permitting and building. From Title 24 reports to Lead Certification, we are experts at building for today’s rules and tomorrow’s benefit.

MAK worked with the City of Davis to develop a local green building program before such guidelines were required by state law. We continue to research, educate ourselves, and vet new green practices for our projects and our community.
We are proud sponsors of community organizations including the Mondavi Center, Pence Gallery, Cool Davis, and the Davis School Foundation. We’re also active participants in the Downtown Davis Second Friday Art About, and often host the work of local artists in our office.
