This project’s goal was to change the home’s design from dated to timeless. The design aimed to honor and preserved the historic charm of the home while also incorporating modern amenities and improving the flow space. While the project as a whole is wonderful, the details are what truly steal the show. Everything from the grand vaulted ceiling which really opened the space, to the “invisible” shower drain disguised into the tile pattern – each aspect was thoughtfully designed and expertly executed. The intention behind each detail no matter the scale, was to make the home work better while being beautiful.
From design through construction MAK was great to work with. They kept me informed ... There are many challenges when renovating an older house and MAK was always willing to develop options to resolve issues which were both cost effective and in keeping with the overall design. The quality of the design and construction has exceeded my expectations. I am very proud of the result and MAK should be as well.
