Lead Carpenter

Carter reached out to MAK, looking for an opportunity to learn more about carpentry and be a part of a greater team. Since becoming an apprentice carpenter in 2020, Carter has proven himself to be inquisitive, hard-working, and so capable. Now, as a lead carpenter, Carter is always looking to learn and as well as happy to teach his skills to others on the team. He is detail-oriented, diligent, and has an incredible work ethic! His quiet carpentry confidence helps to anchor the production team and provides a steadying presence for all of his fellow crew members. Prior to working at MAK, Carter worked in other trades, but he enjoys carpentry the most. Through his time at MAK, Carter has realized he loves framing and seeing a structure’s skeleton come to life. Carter is committed to learning as much as he can to continue to be the best carpenter he can possibly be.

Outside of work, Carter likes spending time with his family and friends or training for his next trail race.
